Wahlstudie 2024
The state elections in Thuringia, Saxony, and Brandenburg in the fall of 2024 were eagerly anticipated. In order to scientifically investigate the causes and consequences of voting behavior, the Center for Research on Right-Wing Extremism, Democracy Education, and Social Integration (KomRex) at Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, together with the Chair of Social Psychology at the University of Trier, conducted a longitudinal survey of 1,200 people in these federal states. The study comprised two measurement points for the online survey, the first of which took place before the elections (mid/end of August 2024) and the second after the elections (mid/end of November 2024).
